Project Construction Background Walnut shell filter material is a kind of water treatment filter material that uses high-quality walnut shell as raw material, after crushing, polishing, steaming, washing, medicine treatment, and two screening processes. It has the characteristics of high hardness, abrasion resistance, good pressure resistance, stable chemical properties, not dissolved in acid and alkali, strong adsorption and interception ability, and oil leaching resistance. It is widely used in oily sewage treatment, industrial wastewater treatment and civil water treatment. Walnut shell abrasives are made by rigorous screening of walnut shells and refined by multiple processes. It has good durability and elasticity, and can be mixed with other abrasives. It is the most ideal soft polishing material. Fengqing walnut is famous at home and abroad for its large fruit, thin shell, white and tender flesh, fine texture, bright color, high scent, and high kernel yield. Walnuts are planted in 13 townships in the county. The existing walnut planting area is 1.706 million mu, and the output in 2014 was 90,100 tons. The implementation of this project can make full use of the existing walnut resources of Gongyi and nearly 10 million acres of walnut resources in the surrounding cities and counties of Gongyi, with sufficient raw materials and broad market prospects.
